Based on the principle of Soxhlet extraction, the gravimetric method is employed to determine the fat content in grains, cereals, and food products. 

This method complies with GB 5009.6-2016 *National Food Safety Standard — Determination of Fat in Foods*; GB/T 6433-2006 *Determination of Crude Fat in Feeds*; and SN/T 0800.2-1999 *Inspection Methods for Crude Fat in Import and Export Grains and Feeds*.
