XHY-43C Automatic Scratch Tester

The Scratch Tester manufactured by xhinstruments is designed in accordance with standards such as GB/T 9279.1-2015, ISO 1518-1, BS 3900:E2, and BS EN 13523-12.

The Scratch Tester is a specialized instrument for measuring the hardness of paint films. It is suitable for evaluating the scratch resistance of single coatings or coating systems on insulating color-coated boards. It applies pressure under a certain weight and judges the scratch resistance of the coating based on whether the stylus breaks through the coating or the maximum load without breaking through the coating. Users can manually input relevant parameters to control the instrument's operation to achieve the desired results.

• The work platform can be manually moved along the Y-axis, allowing users to perform multiple tests on the same test plate to ensure repeatability.

• The X-axis of the work platform can be set with a speed according to experimental needs, and is driven by a motor for smooth movement.

• Extra-large work platform, compatible with test plates of different sizes (maximum test plate size 200mm × 100mm).

• Equipped with a light alarm system, providing intuitive feedback to the experimenter on whether the stylus has penetrated the test plate.
