XHP-PVA-5280 Rapid Viscosity Analyzer

The XHP-PVA-5280 rapid viscosity analyzer is an instrument for rapidly detecting the stirring and gelatinization properties of starch. It is suitable for determining the starch quality of grains and crops such as wheat, corn, rice, sorghum, potatoes, and lotus root.

The PVA-5280 is a rotary viscometer with programmed temperature control and variable shear force. Through a high-resolution torque sensor connected to the paddles, it can accurately measure the change in viscous resistance over time. Reliable analysis using software allows for accurate evaluation of the viscosity changes of samples under specific conditions. It is suitable not only for quality identification of flour and grains, enzyme activity in flour, and the effect of additives on enzyme activity, but also for testing in formulated foods such as seasonings, tomato sauce, gravy, dairy beverages, and protein-based foods.
